Terms of Service
Last updated: April 25, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Fillio’s website at fillio.co, the Fillio browser extension, and related services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Fillio ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account, installing the extension, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
1. The Service
Fillio provides tools to help you apply to jobs, including resume parsing, AI-assisted form filling on supported career and applicant tracking system (ATS) sites, storage of your profile and application-related information, and related features. We may add, change, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that any employer will receive, review, or respond to an application, or that the Service will be available or error-free at all times.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for providing accurate registration information and for safeguarding your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity under your account, except where caused by our gross negligence or unauthorized access despite reasonable security on our end.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of law, third-party terms (including employers’ and ATS sites’ terms), or these Terms
- Attempt to access systems, data, or areas of the Service you are not authorized to use, or to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems without permission
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service or extension except as permitted by law
- Use the Service to transmit malware, spam, or harassing content, or to impersonate another person or entity
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users’ use of the Service
- Use automated means to abuse rate limits, accounts, or infrastructure
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written permission
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules or pose a risk to the Service or other users.
4. The Chrome Extension
The extension is provided through the Chrome Web Store and is subject to Google’s terms and policies. The extension is designed to operate in connection with your account and our API as described in our product documentation. You are responsible for keeping the extension updated to supported versions when prompted.
5. AI-Assisted Content and Your Responsibility
Some features use artificial intelligence to suggest or generate text (for example, answers to form fields or screening questions). AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for a particular job or employer. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, and submitting any information to employers. You should not rely on the Service as legal, career, or compliance advice. By submitting applications, you represent that the information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge and appropriate for the role.
6. Subscriptions, Fees, and Billing
Paid plans, pricing, and features are described on our website. Fees are charged through our payment processor (currently Stripe) according to the plan you select. Except where required by law or as explicitly stated at checkout, payments are non-refundable. You may cancel a subscription in accordance with the cancellation flow in your account or billing settings; cancellation typically takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We may change prices or plan features with reasonable notice; continued use after the effective date may constitute acceptance.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, text, and branding, is owned by Fillio and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service and extension for your personal job search, in line with these Terms. You retain rights in content you provide (such as your resume and profile). You grant us a license to host, process, and use that content solely to provide and improve the Service, as further described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, or that any content or AI output is accurate or reliable.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will Fillio, its affiliates, or their respective officers, employees, or suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to liability, or (b) fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50), except where such limitations are prohibited by law.
10. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Fillio and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account as described in the product. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we cease offering the Service. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.
12. Governing Law; Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or confidential information.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version on this page and update the "Last updated" date. If changes are material, we will provide notice by email, through the Service, or as otherwise required by law. Your continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance, except that material changes to dispute resolution or liability may require your explicit consent where required by law.
14. Open Source and Third-Party Services
The Service may incorporate third-party software or rely on services such as those listed in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services may be subject to the third party’s terms. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.
15. General
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fillio regarding the Service. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Notices to you may be sent to the email associated with your account.
