## What is Fillio?

Fillio is a **Chrome extension** paired with a **web backend** (fillio.co and api.fillio.co) that helps job seekers complete online job applications faster. Users upload a resume (PDF), review extracted profile data, and then use the extension on supported career sites and applicant tracking system (ATS) application pages to fill forms with one action. The product uses **AI (Anthropic Claude)** in the backend for parsing, field matching, and suggested answers to application and screening questions.

## User workflow (high level)

1. Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store and create an account (authentication via **Clerk**).
2. Upload a resume. Fillio parses and structures profile data (name, contact, work history, education, skills).
3. Open a job posting and application form on a supported site. The extension detects form fields; the user triggers fill to populate fields; AI assists with mapping and with screening questions where enabled.
4. Optional: application history is recorded; screening answers can be stored for reuse on similar questions (feature set depends on plan).
